It depends? Will you race or bash? Its all personal preference, its whats best for you and your driving style. Everyone will have their preferences.

jammin scrt10. no questions asked, hands down, why... low cg, quality diffs, better durability, its more of a race car.

Best all around SC truck is the 8th scale SC8e vary durable truck great for bashing, the problem is there's not enough around to have there own class to race in. At barona they put you with the truggys but I don't mind because I still get to race and it a blast. There's about 5 or 6 of us who have them I think we'll get a class soon.

if AE makes one i wouldnt hesitate to think it will handle like its on rails.

IMO its hard to say for the current 4x4's out. they all have their goods and bads, and are all competitive.

+1 with Mike here on the SC8e. I know this isn't a 10th scale 4x4 like the topic says but everyone who has got one loved it but just got rid of it because there wasnt a class. Its a tough truck and is really fun. I know lots of people who really wanna get this class started and I'm one of them. I'm in the process you could call it to do a conversion which I posted a thread on what parts you'll need. Lets get this class rolling @ Borona!!!

i really have been looking into the SC8E i just have not got to talk to anyone that owns one yet. I love the way my 8ight-E drives what does it compare to a 1/8 scale buggy?

To me you can control your slide better in high speed turns which makes it more fun to drive, it takes some shock tuning to get it to fly straight once it in the air if the nose dives you can't pull out like you can with your buggy. You have to stay off the brakes, I run with 10% brake not drag brake. It's not as fast as my RC8 but I like it more.
